Banner Opt Out

This allows email recipients to opt out from receiving Rocketseed banners. 

Please note: This is not the same as opting out from a bulkmail provider: in this case, mails will still be delivered, but Rocketseed will no longer include any banners when emailing those recipients. Note that any Signatures or Disclaimers that are assigned will still be shown.

Implementation

The most automated way of achieving this is to amend your disclaimer wording to include a link giving recipients the option to opt out of receiving future banners.

An example is below.

Add a tracker link text, this can either be linked to an opt out form that is managed by yourselves (you can then add the email address to a Rocketseed exclusion group), or alternatively that click is recorded in a ‘no banner’ Recipient group which marks that email address as opting out of seeing any banners going forward. The latter is more automated.

When the link is clicked, it does have to redirect to a URL.  You may wish for the link to take the recipient to a page saying something similar to ‘We have now opted you out of receiving future email banners from us’.  This page will be hosted by yourselves

Create a Recipient group that has a ‘blank banner’ assigned.
Please contact support if you wish for a blank banner to be created
