Rocketseed Email Branding fully integrates with Google Analytics allowing you to monitor campaign click performance and track conversions.
Every time you create a new click area within your branding (banner, signature or disclaimer) you have the choice to use ‘Google Tracker’ on your results. When recipients click on these integrated links in your branded emails, they are directed to your website and are immediately tracked by your Google Analytics.
Fully compatible with Google Analytics, Rocketseed ensures that marketers have a consolidated view of their branded email marketing campaigns.
Using click-track reporting and unique tracking identifiers, Rocketseed allows you to measure all website traffic, tracking subsequent sales conversions generated by your branded emails.
Rocketseed’s integration with Google web analytics not only enables a unified view of your email marketing campaigns but also helps to increase your sales leads and conversions.
By measuring the performance of your branded email sales and marketing banners, you will be able to refine your campaigns, improve your click-through rates, and increase sales.
You upload your branding element as usual
Select the Tracking button
You give your tracker a Name
Add your URL
Check the Checkbox called Google Tracker
Save the Tracker
Your URL will be updated to include these three Google Analytics elements as follows:

The bold text above is the original URL as inserted by you and is the page to be displayed on click.
The red text above is the Source which is always “Email Branding” so you can find it in your Google Reporting.
The blue text above is the Medium which is the name of the Reseller/Rocketseed.
The grey text above is the Campaign which is the Template name or the name of the Signature or Disclaimer.
You do not have to use our default analytics code, if you wish you can of course use your own UTM code.
In order to view Rocketseed traffic in Google Analytics, you will need to navigate to the Acquisition --> All Traffic --> Source Medium section of the dashboard:
Once you’re there, you should see a row for Email Branding / Rocketseed. Click on the header.
You can add a ‘secondary dimension’ to view which specific campaigns (banners) are generating the most traffic.
Navigate to 'Secondary Dimension' (in yellow below) > 'Advertising' > 'Campaign'.
This then adds a column name 'Campaign' which is the individual Rocketseed banner name that has been clicked in that time period.

Please note that Google Analytics 4 (GA4) has a slightly different view and navigation.
In order to view Rocketseed traffic in Google Analytics 4, you will need to navigate to the Acquisition --> Traffic Acquisition.
In ‘Session default channel group’ press the downwards arrow to select ‘Session Source Medium’.
Once you’re there, you should see a row for Email Branding / Rocketseed.
In the search bar type in Email Branding / Rocketseed.
To view your specific Campaigns, next to ‘Session source/medium’ select the + symbol and choose ‘Traffic Source’ > ‘Session campaign’.
