Signature placeholder

Rocketseed email branding tries to always insert your signature at the correct place in a correspondence chain. For some non-compliant mail programs, use of a signature placeholder ensures that the branding engine will place your signature at the correct location.

What is the signature placeholder?

The signature placeholder is specific unique text inserted into your mail to indicate where to place your signature.  This can appear in every email you send or only in specific emails.  It’s up to you to decide.

What is the unique text to use?

Rocketseed will recognise the text @MYSIGNATURE@ as a signature placeholder. If this text appears anywhere in your email, it will be used to place your new Rocketseed signature.

How do I use this once off?

If you generally want to continue using the current Rocketseed signature placement rules but wish to bypass it for one specific email, simply type the placeholder (@MYSIGNATURE@) at the bottom of your message or reply.

How do I use this on every email?

If you are using an email client that is not in the list of support email programs, you do not have to type the placeholder into every email. Instead, create a text signature in your email client with the placeholder in it.  The text will be replaced by your Rocketseed signature when the mail is sent.

Will the placeholder be visible to my email recipients?

Absolutely not!  Once Rocketseed sees the placeholder, we will replace it with your specified signature design containing all your personal details.
