What does Rocketseed do?
Rocketseed is email signature management made simple, and it is about to be rolled out across your business. It provides a central, consistent way to control the appearance of your emails.
Integrating with your existing everyday email it enables a business to add email signatures that are on brand, and can include links and targeted marketing campaigns on each email sent.
Every email sent by employees within the business to customers and partners can now help build your brand and improve awareness of your products and services. Clicks can be tracked which in turn helps to boost sales and improve your CRM process.
Rocketseed have worked with your IT and Marketing teams to create master signature templates and marketing messages.
Rocketseed can also provide you with monthly Key statistics to indicate how many clicks the templates are receiving and help you understand how your customers are engaging with us.
FAQ’s
What do I need to do? In most cases there is nothing you need to do. If you have an existing signature set up on your device you need to remove this in advance of going live with Rocketseed so no duplication occurs.
How do I see what my signature and branding looks like? When you compose your email you won’t see your Rocketseed branding as it is applied after a mail is sent. To see what your Rocketseed branding looks like email branding-test@rocketseed.com. An email with your branding will be sent back to you so you can check the appearance of your banner, disclaimer and signature.
The benefit of the details being applied after sending means we can centrally control the templates and ensure they are all tamper proof (and target recipients with specific messaging if needed!).
Why have images been removed from my original signature? By default accounts are set to strip previous Rocketseed images in an email chain. The most recent images appear and text always remains, so important information such as contact details are still visible. Accounts can be set to retain images if preferred.
Why do I see my images as attachments? Sometimes recipients have their mail formatting set in plain text and rich text formatting, when they reply to an email that contains embedded images, you will receive the email with images as attachments.
Why did my email not brand? Your email address did not route through your Rocketseed account or, your email address is not set-up to brand in your account. Always ensure your email address is not in auto-created senders and is in a branded group only.
Copy and pasting: Due to the complex nature of the software, issues with the placement of Signatures can sometimes be encountered if the email composer copies and pastes text into their emails. Rocketseed uses hidden markers to detect the start and finish of an email so we can determine where to place the signature. If this is a common need in your environment, please contact our Support Team and they will put together an alternative solution to your signature placement rules.
Why do I see two signatures appearing on my outgoing emails? When the Rocketseed signature is activated for outgoing email branding please ensure that all other signatures such as in Outlook or mobile are disabled to avoid signature duplication.
How do I change my contact details in my signature? Contact your administrator who will log on to the User Interface.
Why are there lots of Disclaimers at the bottom of my emails? Disclaimers are applied to every email that is sent and are always put to the bottom of the email chain so they don’t interrupt the conversation.
Why can’t I see a Signature in my sent items? The email branding is applied once the email has been sent. Which means it will also not display in your sent items.
Who adds the banner to my signature and can I change it? Banners and signatures are centrally controlled by the marketing team. If you have a campaign you are keen to run please contact your administrator.
Can I send bulk emails? This is a one-to-one email environment. If you would like to send a newsletter or bulk mail this should be done on a separate mailing tool. Please speak to your marketing team.
Why do Image map links sometimes not work on mobile devices? Image maps is an HTML function that creates different clickable areas on images using coordinates. Image maps require exact coordinates which do not rescale and are therefore not responsive and not fully supported by all mobile email apps. To work around this, Images can be sliced and linked directly to their respective links. This option will make it possible for images with multiple links to be clickable on mobile without any issue.
