The Rocketseed email signature on compose pulls the signature design and the personal data held in the Rocketseed database into the compose email window at the time of your email composition. This Signature on Compose functionality is available in your Microsoft 365 Desktop, Microsoft Progressive Web Application and Outlook Web Access email clients.
This means that if you are using one of the above applications and the SoC function has been installed in your environment, you will be able to see your signature content when you write your email.
PLEASE NOTE: This feature is not currently supported by mobile devices. For emails sent from your mobile device, the email signature will be added once the mail is routed via the Rocketseed server.
As explained, the SoC Add-in for Microsoft 365 users needs to be installed by the MS365 Mail Administrator. This process can take up to 48 hours to propagate across all users in the organisation so we suggest that the administrator does the installation on a Friday so that by Monday it will be ready for everyone to use. Once this has propagated, all the users will need to do is access their Outlook application in the usual way and they will see the Rocketseed logo indicating a new application has been installed.
This is shown in the screen shots below, the first one being the Outlook Desktop Application and the second is the Outlook Web Access (OWA) or Outlook Progressive Web Application (PWA)
When you compose a mail from your Outlook Desktop Client, you will see that the signature assigned to your user in the Rocketseed application is automatically populated with your information:
If you would like to change the signature to a shorter Reply Signature, simply click on the Rocketseed icon in the toolbar and all the signatures assigned to you will be displayed
You then click on the Reply Signature and it will automatically switch from the Full Signature to the newly selected signature.
If you are replying to an email, the reply signature will be auto populated for you by default
If, however, you would like the reply email to have the full signature, you once again use the side panel to switch the signature and the full signature will be used.
Both the OWA and PWA look and behave in the same way.

The following things are useful to know when you are using Signature on Compose
You will only see your signature when you write your email, the banner and disclaimer will be added when the mail routes through the Rocketseed server
The images in your signature will be referenced and not embedded
Your signature information may be updated by the user but this will not update the Rocketseed application
Installation and updates to the add-in can take up to 48 hours to propagate across the organisation
If there is any small internet outage or delay while you are creating your signature, the images can take some time to display or not display at all
If there is a more significant internet outage while creating the signature, an error can be displayed and no signature downloaded at all. This is out of Rocketseed’s control.
